About me

I am a 21 Year old, Female Recording Engineer/Producer/UK Hip Hop Artist. I enjoy many aspects of making music, from listening, writing, producing, recording, mixing and mastering, as well as performing my own material. Through this I have developed excellent communication skills through performing and engaging with listeners on and off stage. I have developed excellent planning and time management skills, by organising travel around the country on a small budget. I have achieved self discipline, both mentally and physically through regular practice, and have learnt to perform under pressure, by overcoming nervousness in order to perform to the best of my ability, as well as powers of memeory, physical dexterity and concentration. I strive to improve performance, by giving and recieving criticism and learning from my own mistakes.

• - NCFE in Music Technology - BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology.
• - BSc (Hons) Music Technology
• - Pro Tools Certification

As previously mentioned, My main passion is music. Throughout making my own music, specifically Hip Hop, I have had the privilege of working with people from different musical styles, genre's and backgrounds. This has opened my mind to other peoples values, beliefs, views and opinions and has helped me grow as a person. I have learnt to appreciate other artists music, not only lyrically, but also production wise. Throughout writing, recording and producing my own music, I have performed around the country, and had the opportunity to support and meet some of the UK's biggest homegrown talent. I have supported UK Hip Hop veterans such as Logical and Lowkey, Chester P and Skinnyman, to The King Blues ("The Best live Band In Britain" - Kerrang!) and Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip. I was also personally Invited by Lowkey to perform, and share the stage, with 'Mongrel' (Lowkey, Jon McClure, Andy Nicholson, Drew McConnell) and 'Pariz-1'; on their 'Long Live Palestine' Tour. I have performed at festivals such as Newcastle Evolution, on their Emerging Stage, and have also been interviewed and performed live on air for BBC Tees and Click radio (Teesside Uni Campus Radio) and have also been featured and reviewed within local newspapers and magazines. I have written and recorded mine and my group mate's Mix cd (Leddie and Smoggy - Calm Before the Storm Mix CD) available to hear at www.LeddieandSmoggy.Bandcamp.Com and www.Youtube.com/LeddieAndSmoggy and am also writing, producing, recording, mixing and mastering our debut album, due to be released this year, within my free time.
