About me

Hi! Im Katie

My goal is to work within the media industries as either a technical or creative mind. I am interested in many aspects of the Film and Production process which allows me to draw inspiration from a lot of sources. My Specialist area is lighting but can apply my other skills to a lot of other roles. I have worked on Short films, Dramas, Documentaries, Music Videos and Corperate Projects, all a mixture of studio and location based projects. I am enthusiastic and love learning new skills. I engage with new ideas and put my all into every project I work on.

Photography is a big interest of mine, the works of Mark Seliger, Jeff Wall, Gregory Crewsdon has inspired my and work im currently developing. I also love to look at instalation art as it shares the same intentions as what cinematography tries to create within a film.

2 weeks as trainee spark for MI High.

Lighting Director for Rave On Air Magazine and Music Sho

Lighting for many studio projects at Ravensbourne College as well as on location.

Camera Assistant for Independant Film, The Filmmaker's Son.
