Hello people of the inter-web, how are you?

My name is Benjamin, and I’m an EDITOR.

I offer a number of post production, service ranging from, Online editing, Grading and Audio mixing to Offline editing, DVD authoring, and encoding.

I am currently freelancing whilst studying at Ravensbourne University, and over the past three years of my post production career, I have become competent in using Final Cut Pro, Colour, Compressor, DVD studio Pro, Avid, After Effects and Shake at a professional level, not to mention skills in the MCR such as patching, referencing, deck setup and legalising. I have also become confidant with several different audio tools including Pro Tools, Cubase, and Logic. I hope to further develop these skills, over the remaining time of my career. Using these skills, I believe I have developed into a well rounded editor, with skills in grading, audio mixing, online Editing, and off line Editing, as well as VFX and motion graphics.

• Was responsible for managing my own time whilst working from home and internally.

       Edit Assistant / MCR Op (Freelance)

• Worked on various edits for high profile clients, such as the BBC and Channel 4.
• Edited features for Sony music.
  Improved my knowledge of tape decks, including HDCAM /SR, DVCPro and DigiBetaCAM
• Gained knowledge in new technologies such as XDCam and Red Cam.
• Developed encoding  skills.
• Developed skills in DVD authoring.
• Responsible for play outs, of various clients.
