About me

Hello, my name is John Walton, and I am a student at DeMontfort University, Leicester. At present, I am studying for a BSc Hons degree in Media Production, and have a passion for all-things film related.

Before joining the University, I studied Media Studies for four years at Rawlins Community College, Quorn (two years at GCSE, and two at A Level). This was accompanied by two years of studying A Level Film Studies and four years of Fine Art. During my time at the college, I learned many techniques and practices of the industry, and discovered a love of both pre and post production work, particularly script writing and editing (I have become an avid supporter of the Kuleshov theory!).
