I have just finished a Bsc (hons) in professional sound and video technology at the university of Salford and am waiting to receive my results. I am currently looking to expand my range of skills and experience in any way I can, be this work experience/placements, trainee or trial based positions and temporary and permenant employment. I am a motivated, confident, graduate with bags of common sense and initiative. I will consider any position related to my skills, and give everything I have to it.

I am an enthusiastic recent graduate of Music Technology looking to gain experience within the industry. My main areas of interest and expertise are sound design and music production however I am looking to work with sound in any way. To work within this industry your work must be a vocation and I am ready to commit fully to any task ahead of me.

Background

My interest in Camera operation and television began at the age of 14 when I recorded my Nan's golden wedding anniversary party. From here I knew I wanted to take this further. I started studying Television at the age of 16 when I studied a two year National Diploma in Moving image at the colchester Institute, Essex. I created promotional shorts, documentaries, music pop video's and directed a single camera drama. I obtained 3 distinctions, equivalent to three A grades at A-Level and received a distinctive work in media award.

I am now a recent graduate in Broadcast Television Production at the University of Westminster, London. During my 3 year course I undertook several productions. I was producer for an as-live multi-camera show in the studio which was a huge success. I made my own promotional advertisements, a creative video and my most memorable experience was as camera operator for my final major project - a documentary on Circus life in France which is, at a later date, being entered into festivals.

Career objective 

I am seeking an opportunity for paid work that will help me gain some experience in the television industry, either in studio, on location shoots or in the production office. I have worked on various projects of this nature and I would like to find employment where I can further my skills by working on other productions.

I'm 20 years old, I study Broadcast Television Production at the University of Westminster. My main interests in television production are Post Production sound which I'd like to get alot more work in, production and organization of shoots and people and utilization of Web 2.0 technologies to market and enhance the viewing experience.
