For as long as I remember I have had a huge passion for film and television and have always been fascinated by the technical, as well as purely entertaining, sides of TV and film. I also extremely enjoy creating my own film ideas. I have a strong work ethic and I have graduate with a BA Honours degree in Television & Film Production and I consider further experience within the Film and Television industry as absolutely invaluable. I can receive and give direction well, and have held a variety of jobs within the retail industry which has provided me with experience of a wide range of responsibilities from working with others to taking responsibility for specific areas of my work place, and I am no stranger to long hours. I am always up for a challenge and will always try to better my working environment even without direction. I hope to one day become a script writer and have my own work produced and shown on the big screen, and will work and do all that I can to achieve this goal.
I have gained vast amounts of technical and creative skills within the film and TV industry- · Worked on more than 10 films predominantly working as the camera operator and writer/producer · Worked with video camera equipment ranging from 1 chip Sanyo hand held cameras to HD JVC and Sony HD z7’s · A confident and competent at tracking, deep focus and steady handed camera work. · Excellent knowledge and work with various sound equipment e.g. shotgun and radio microphones and SQN mixers and boom poles · Worked and dealt with sound issues and in environments ranging from a busy and rough sea front to a quiet professional sound studio · Experience with setting up and using tracking and dolly systems and different make and styles of tri-pods. · An extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro in which I have used to create a mixture of documentaries and short films · Creatively I have written, directed and produced a variety of films, VT’S and a live TV show in which I acted as the floor manager · With no prior actor interaction I successfully auditioned over 40 actors to take part in a well received short drama film · I have written, directed and produced over 10 films, and have gained a good knowledge of script writing structure and have been able to broaden my creative mind through script writing. · Minor acting experience I feel gives me a better understanding of TV and film as I have experience both in front and behind the camera |

I live behind the lens of a camera. It is my passion and my art. I've recently completed a foundation diploma in broadcasting operations and production and am currently following it through to a BA (Hons). Although camera work is my speciality I am well rounded across all disciplines, such as Sound recording, lighting, directing, photography and editing. I have worked on everything from drama, to documentary to live shows and I relish the opportunity to broaden my horizons.

Hi I'm Maria del Carmen Smith, a freelance illustrator, animator and designer. I Studied Graphic Arts at LJMU Academy of arts and design. I love to create characters and usually incorporate cheerful and bright palettes in my work. I come from Peru but now live and work in Liverpool. My favourite artists are Matisse, Van Gogh, Degas, Klimt, Kandinsky and Paul Gauguin. Favourite writers: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Mario Vargas Llosa and Isabel Allende. Favourite illustrators: Lorena Alvarez, Natali sejuro, Candice Dillhoff. Favourite animator: Tim Burton.
I love traditional media and these days I like to combine traditional and digital techniques. The main programs I use are Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Flash.

I am a hard working, reliable and self-motivated individual who is currently studying
Digital Film Production at Ravensbourne College. My passion for film and music stems from a young age and I have been a professional musician since 1985 playing Bass Guitar, classical guitar, Flute, Banjo and the Harmonica. During this time I toured Europe playing Jazz, Blues, Rock and Indy music. Song writing has given me the ability to form and shape music with a pen and the computer to the point of extending my interest to film and post-production, I am creative, resourceful and extremely passionate about the TV and Film industries particularly postproduction and believe that the experience I have required, complimented with my studies of Digital Film Production will be suitable.

I am a Contemporary Art Practice student at Leeds University, graduating in June 2010. I am Swedish and grew up in Stockholm, moving to the UK to do my degree. My studio practice has involved working in different mediums throughout my BA, such as photography, digital art, video and painting/drawing. My work has mainly been video based for the last year and I have also done a project about different projection techniques. I use Final Cut, Photoshop and InDesign on a regular basis and did a course in Editorial Design when I was on a year abroad in Valencia. I am most familiar with working on MACs.

Hello, and welcome to my profile.
I recently graduated from Ravensbourne College having studied Broadcast Post Production. I've been interested in editing for 5 years now. I love story telling and for me, editing is the best part in the production for really piecing the pictures together. Editing is more than telling a story, its about crafting the story, the characters, the mood and feel of the peice.
When it comes to editing, the tools of my trade are Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro. Both of which I run on my own systems from home. I am always looking to expand my technical knowledge and have a growing passion for After Effects a powerful compositing tool.
